Dr. John’s Candy for Daily Consumption

Wednesday, March 31st, 2010

You ask, we answer!

Dr. John’s® Candies received a question from one of our followers concerning candy for daily consumption. They had been using our Dr. John’s® Herbal Lollipops. One Dr. John’s® Herbal Lollipop in in the morning and one lollipop in the evening, for 10 days, disables tooth decay bacteria for 3 to 6 months. Therefore, those at risk of cavities should use a 20-Pack between 2 and 4 times per year.

What about the rest of the year? Is there something that could be used every day, 365 days a year? Well, of course there is. There are two different options you could take depending on your tooth decay level and how much protection you would like.

The first is a plan based on our new line, SimplyXylitol™. Enjoying one serving of any of the SimplyXylitol™ products, three to five times a day, will provide the daily benefit of xylitol. Numerous clinical studies have shown that the daily benefit (6-10 grams) of xylitol reduces dental caries by up to 80%! The SimplyXylitol™ plan is ideal for anyone who is at a high risk for cavities, but is perfect for everyone. Choose from tasty lollipops, chewy caramels, luscious chocolates, drinks and more. To learn more about the SimplyXylitol™ plan and the serving reference chart click here.

If you are not concerned with the amount of xylitol you consume, we have an option of you as well. Dr. John’s® Candies with Xylitol do not have as much xylitol in them as the SimplyXylitol products do but they are just as tasty. Think of these as getting your candy and being able to eat it too. Like all of our products, they are sugar free and gluten free.

Both of these options can be done daily, what a way to satisfy your sweet tooth! For more information on any of our candy or on the natural sweetener xylitol please visit drjohns.com.
